Everyone should have Birthday Week....

February 4th 1975
Yes, I'm blogging my birthday!
I love having a birthday by the way!
So many people sent me cards and birthday wishes, I felt very loved!
It gives me great joy to celebrate and have fun with family and friends!
Yes this is an old pic. of myself. I think I'm about 1.

The day before my birthday this year...

Here we are at BJ's for lunch...gotta have Pazookie!

Me, Jennifer, Natalie, Michelle,

Suzie, and Karen. Thanks ladies!

On my birthday, I went to lunch with Natalie and Aaron. (no picture though?)
Then of course you have to go to dinner too!
Char, me, Karen, Lexi, Suzie, Kim, Jenny, & Kristen.
I love hanging out with my girls!!

The next day I got together with my BFF from 1st grade!!
Sara & her little ones Ben & Cooper, with Natalie and I.
We had lunch in Stockton at Boudin Bakery! Yummy!!
I love Sour Dough bread!!
So now were on to Friday right?
Charlene and I met Michelle Clark for a girls weekend in Fresno.
I know of all places... Fresno? We didn't care it was a half way point.
We ate and shopped and laughed our cinnabons off! (:
Thanks Aaron for letting me get away from it all!
It was very weird/AWESOME to not HAVE to be ANYWHERE!!

I feel so very blessed to have such great people around me.

I know there are so many more than are on this blog entry too!

I love my life and everyone in it!

Everyone should have their own birthday WEEK!

My boys have been busy....
Basketball & Soccer

Eli...

is playing competitive soccer for a team called United.
He is a very fast kid. Always has been.
When he was first walking his feet were too fast for him!!
He'd get up and fall, get up and fall.
He had more bruises than any kid!
He plays goalie and he's great on defense!
It's amazing how he can chase down just about anyone!
He has also been playing 5th grade Rec. Basketball.
He is doing great considering he is in 4th grade.
We moved him up because they get to play
with all the rules, on 10ft rims, and they have refs.
It's been very busy going to all of his games!
It has been great to see him shine!

ABRAM...

made the 8th grade team at McCaffrey M.S. He has been playing since Dec.

They only lost one reg. season game. However, came up short in the Tournament.

He's also been playing Rec. B'ball which I think he loves the most.

(Playing against all the kids he knows is the most fun!)

I snapped a picture of him after school one day.

Abram is a really good kid. Middle School can

be very hard and I'm really glad he's stayed true to himself.

The picture on the far right is of him playing YM basketball!

We all know that this is the most competitive league you can be in!!

Where it all began.....

In 1993 Aaron and I met, fell in love, (I know TMI)
and on Jan. 28, 1994 got married!

Many people thought we were too young,
well actually they were right.
At the time, I wasn't going to admit that!
For Heaven sakes I was 18!!
Cradle robber~

It's amazing to me that we are celebrating our
15th Anniversary.
We have had our ups and downs, who hasn't!?!
We have had 4 beautiful babies, 1 dumb dog,(:
many great vacations, and fun memories to go with them.
We have always loved to laugh together or
at each other!

Now that the kids are big it's been great to have

"built in"babysitting

so we can spend more time together.

Without breaking the bank!

Throughout all the years of laughter,

"hair styles", crazy big plans, etc....

We are still very much in love.

So, yes this is a blog entry close to my heart.
I have to let everyone know, but especially him,
I love my husband so very much!
......15 years and counting...

Words of Wisdom...

Oh the THINGS they say!
I've been inspired by a couple of friends of mine. They've
posted the funny things their kids say.
If I don't write them down I won't remember.
..............................................................
Aaron: "Natalie, you didn't eat Jack Squat for dinner!"
Natalie: (whiny voice)..."But, I don't like Jack Squat!"
.............................................................

My friend Kristen walked home with
Natalie and her son William today.
They were discussing all sorts of things like
who eats meat, cat's do...and dog's do.
Lion's are cat's too.
And they will be nice to us some day.
William said, When Jesus comes again,
Lambs and Lions will be friends!
So, then Natalie says,
Ya, Jesus can heal everything so fast because,
(She puts her hand palm up like a high 5 and says)
He has the check mark!!
(Meaning the mark on his palm where he was nailed to the cross.)
They both seem to believe that Jesus is a super hero,
whom they both wanted to be like!
He is & Who doesn't? ( :

William and Natalie 1st day of Kindergarten!

5 year olds are awesome!

Christmas week~

Our Christmas Week....started off as usual, hanging out.
We took lots of pictures so be prepared for the longest blog ever!

Abram and Mom
Eli, Mom, & Natalie....CHeEsEY

We went to see the Chrismas lights in Franklin, family Tradition.
We invited Eli's friend Andrew to come along.

Sippin' cider and eating cookies at this
Amazing display of lights!
The tree in the background has 13,700 lights alone.
Not to mention the whole property is covered
with animated everything & ton's of LIGHTS!

Natalie and Madison love this place, as do we all!
They have ornaments you can write a special note on to
remember a loved one that you've lost.
Then you hang them on trees and every year you
can come back and find the one you made.
It is amazing how many people come here.
The family puts it on every year in memory
of their family members that have past on.

Christmas Eve... we went to Shannon's house
to play some Guitar Hero of course. Then
on to Grandma & Grandpa Crist's house for a great dinner
!
Cousins love hanging out!

Had a great time & opened lot's of nice presents!
Thanks Grandma & Grandpa!

Christmas Morning.....
We opened presents at 7am.
The kids had fun .
They loved, loved, loved their gifts!
And Amy loved her new camera!
Ya, more pictures!~sorry~

Aaron wanted a White Christmas so...
We let the kids know we were leaving for
Yosemite for a couple days!
Yeah, they all said!
So after an almost 4 hr. drive through the blizzard
the fun began.
....First icicles,

Then Snowballs,

...And Finally Snow angels!

We woke up to a beautiful morning!

We took the bus around the park, saw some museums,
and then went ice skating.

The next morning we decided to go hike to Mirror Lake.
(The base of Half Dome.)
The kids were reluctant at first but had a great time in the end!
They couldn't stop throwing snowballs,
which would sometimes end in crying!
Hello.... snow is cold!

Aaron & Amy near Half Dome
(This is very rare for us to be in a pic. together!)

We sled for hours, made a snowman,
and had a really great time together as a family!

The trees were so weighted down with snow,

so we had to crouch down to follow the trails!

Like I said, we took lot's of pictures!
It was so gorgeous!

The kids had a blast and kept saying
we want to live here!
With a high of 34 and a low of 20
while we were there, it was cold but great.

However, it was nice to get back to the warm!

The End.

~Thanksgiving~

It's been a long month without Blogging~Sorry.
Here we are and what we've been up to.

Thanksgiving 2008.....
As promised the day started with Flag football at the H.S.
Plenty of people showed up and had a great time with no injuries!
The pic. on the left my Brother in Law Jed took,
It was awesome how Abram blocked the pass from Briana.

After dinner we went to Consumnes Preserve to walk off the food!
My cousin Carl, Matthew's kids and some of mine & Shannon's went.
We love CA weather in the fall.
What a beautiful day it was!

The story of the Slug and Kelly Rae.

Aaron asked, "Who will eat this slug for a dollar?"

Of Course, Kelly Rae stepped up and said, "I will, I will!!!"

We couldn't believe it, within 5 seconds she had it down!

Matthew couldn't believe it!

And Tricia was not too happy about that either. (-=

She's so cute!!

($1 earned.... did she pay tithing on that earning?)

What a great day we had with Matthew, & Shannon's families,
Carl, Grandma & Grandpa Crist.
