I am having Thanksgiving at our house this year. As a long standing tradition, Aaron and the boys always go play football at the H.S. pracitce field on Thanksgiving morning. Every year with out fail, it seems that some one always pulls some muscle they didn't know they had. (Or worse) It kinda makes me laugh...sorry... All the guys go out and try to act like they are 17 again, trying to keep up with their kids! So fair warning try and warm up a little before you go out and kill yourselves over flag football! ( : If you haven't played with them before they usually start between 8-9am. So that they are all home before their wives get too mad! It is fun to watch as well. I'm excited to have family for Thanksgiving! Can't wait!

Are you ready for some Football......
A few weeks back Aaron went to MI to see the MSU spartans football game. He hung out with his dad, brother, & family that live there. It was his birthday weekend and I have alway wanted him to go for his birthday because he is obsessed with MSU. He grew up there and his dad was a professor there, also. He had a great time seeing old friends and getting to his 2nd game this year. Happy belated birthday, Aaron!

Michael, & Natalie
It's becoming a tradition.
Thank you Gale family for letting us share a special day with you all!

Here are some pictures of my kids along with some extras....Not in 2003. LOL :)
Natalie's friend Michael was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes when he was barely 3 yrs. old. Every year they do a walk/fundraiser for JDRF.
We went this year to a pizza place on Fri. for a fundraiser.
over a hundred walkers showed for him, all in pirate gear . (Michael's CREW!!)
Madi & the great sword fighter Caption Michael!
OK, Eli has started to smile like this all the time.
Where did it come from? Cheeeeesy!
Your still cute Pirate Eli.
I don't think I saw Abram the whole time. Their were thousands of people there.
From left: (Jenny...Hee, hee) Abram, Tyson, Miguel, Brianna, & Zac.
The kids have had a blast both years! (Maybe it's all the free stuff?)

Abram is in Washington D.C. on his 8th grade trip.
Yeah for him.
Well, he text me today saying,
"Help, I bought a lunch that tastes like crap and they only take cash and I have no more!"
I laughed SO hard! I'm still laughing. I guess he figured it out some how? Life experience at it's best! I love how he decided to write HELP first. WHAT can I do about it 2,000 miles away! HA!
I guess I'm lucky he still needs me for something, even if it's for lunch money!
Have I mentioned my camera is broke.
Well actually, it's Madi's camera that is broke.
I lost mine last Dec. So now I have become a Picture stealer!
Thanks Tyson for these pictures off your Facebook page! (:

One of THOSE days....
Have you ever had "One of those days". You know the one where you wish you were in someone else's life. Man I hate to feel that way, but I do. In some ways I think that someone else's life would be easier. Or maybe just different maybe different would be better? I know, I have my health and we are fine. I know, I know, it could always be worse. (Is that every mans point of view?) Why do our minds tend to wander that way though? Is it just me? I try to be happy all the time, but I'm not. What a horrible thing to blog about. But, I want to be real. I don't want to paint a perfect blog of a perfect life. We all have our moments, and this is mine. However, I won't let the "D" word take my life away. If you don't know what that is, it's depressed. I really don't want any sympathy calls or emails. Just wanted to vent it out, and ask do we all feel this way sometimes?? What do you do to get yourself out of it? Chocolate? Shopping? Run away...travel?..........................................................
So, I looked through my pic's & tried to find one of the happiest ones. Maybe this can brighten my day. Maybe looking through the eyes of a child can help me refocus.

One of the best trips ever
was to Costa Rica!
The funnest day of my life..... was rafting in Costa Rica!
I believe they said it was a class 3-4?
Not sure the translation was right on that as it seemed much more serious!
Well it was more intense than any rapids we've done in Colorado.
Leroy, Karen, Aaron, & I went almost 3 years ago.
The first morning we were there we took an 1 1/12
bus ride out to a farm where they fed us breakfast.
Who knows what it was, but we ate things we recognized. (Potatoes, rice)
We then took another very bumpy ride down to the river.
The guides had us put on helmets and life vests.
A few of Aaron's friends from work were on the
trip as well, and were on our boat with us.
The far side of the boat is Leroy, Karen, & I.
The near side Aaron is in the middle.
A few times honestly, I was freaked out.
But that's the fun right, DANGER!!
No one from our raft got flung out but others did.
We were drenched all day long.
It took about 5 hours to go down the river.
The guide asked if anyone wanted to go down a rapid
in only their life vest, outside the raft.
OK !! So after Aaron did it he said that he wouldn't do that again.
He got trapped under the raft and couldn't breathe!
HELLO~DANGER!
I thought they were crrrraaaazzzy!
Aaron & Karen got their heads knocked together.
Therefore, the reason for helmets!
We were literally flying all over the place.
At one point we got to get out and jump into the river to relax.
It was so beautiful with trees covering both sides.
